So...the annual clerkship season for law students has come and gone. If you are unaware of what this is, it’s the period in March and/or May, where law students place their futures in the wheel of fate to apply for the elusive “summer clerkship”, “winter clerkship” or even more elite “graduate job”.
Despite having my heart set on various other areas of law, I succumbed to peer pressure and applied to several firms, but I wish I had someone tell me that it was okay if I didn't apply, and that things would turn out just fine.
What do I include in my application? What should I address in my cover letter? Where should I begin? The role of a tipstaff or judge's associate is to assist to a judge in court and to provide research and administrative assistance to the judge in chambers.
