Productivity Apps to Keep You Focused

We know, we know. There are plenty of apps out there that claim to boost productivity and there seems to be a new one every five minutes. We know how tedious it can be to sort through all these apps, so we’ve done the hard part for you and picked our current faves to keep you on track and focused for exam season.
Similar to reminders, Any.do is an app designed to help you organise absolutely everything. It functions like a to-do list that you can check off as you go along. A feature that I particularly like is that it’s integrated into your calendar on your iPhone or Google account so you can see your schedule and tasks for the day. You know those grocery lists that are all out of order and have you walking back and forth between the fruit and veg section, the frozen section, pasta section and snack section? Any.do’s smart grocery list sorts your items automatically and you can even share the list with your housemates.
If you’re one of those people who are guilty of pressing snooze until you’ve maxed out the amount of snoozes on your phone, then this app will be your new bible. Turning off the alarm isn’t as easy as just pressing snooze. With this app, the only way to turn off the alarm is to complete tasks that either require you physically getting up to take a photo of a particular area of your room/house, shaking your phone or solving a problem. No more excuses!
Quizlet Quizlet is especially handy for closed-book exams to test your knowledge about concepts or the principles that come out from cases. Use quizlet to create online flashcards - you can even add images and share them with friends to test each other. It makes remembering all the different directors’ duties a little bit easier for your 70% closed book corporations law exam. Enjoyed this post? Sign up for the Survive Law weekly newsletter for more.
