Sixteen of Australia’s law schools are among the world’s 200 best law faculties, according to the 2014 QS World University Rankings for Law.
In a list that’s dominated by the US and UK, Aussie law schools performed well, with 11 law faculties making it inside the top 100. It’s a strong result for Australia, which is home to only 37 law schools, many of which are much younger than their global competitors.
As with last year’s rankings, Melbourne Law School topped the list for Australia, coming in at number eight in the world for legal education. Australia’s rankings highlights are listed below.
