Retired judge Graham Fricke QC has recently begun researching the history of the Melbourne University Law Students’ Society (MULSS).
The University of Melbourne graduate and former Victorian County Court Judge is delving into the history of MULSS, which began life in 1887 as the Articled Law Clerks’ Debating Society, changing its name to the Articled Law Clerks’ Society in 1891 and adopting its current name in 1892.
Fricke has already compiled a list of all MULSS presidents dating from 1887 to present day. The list has been published on MULSS’ website. The site will be updated with more information as Fricke’s research progresses.
